Business Alchemy is a set of daily rituals I created which combines meditation, visualization, intention-setting, and alchemy practices.
Looking back over the growth, expansion and new beginnings that came about this past year, I recognize and am grateful for how much my personal Business Alchemy process created all of this.
The inspiration for the work is grounded in the simple idea that I love what I do, and am willing to do whatever it takes to keep things healthy and vital so that the work is accessible to anyone who feels called to it and can benefit.
My long-term goal for BodyAttune has always been to create a platform that honors the power and truth that the body is completely capable of healing itself, and presenting modalities, practices, and resources that support education, experience, and facilitation of our ability to access this capacity via science, spirituality, ritual, and esoteric wisdom traditions.
When I began Business Alchemy, I had zero confidence it would amount to anything, but I followed the process simply out of sheer curiosity and a sense that even if my experiments failed I would discover and learn more than if I didn’t at least give it a try.
Over the years, I have been astonished at what is capable with this work. I see it in the immense growth and vitality reflected through BodyAttune, as well as in the businesses and lives of those who have joined me for personal sessions, small group programs, or the year-long immersion.
Business Alchemy is at the core of the practice completely anti-business — often leading into choices that no business expert would ever say are wise. However, the alchemical processes activated seem to hold within them the power of energy healing for systems and resources that when in alignment with the holder of intentions — YOU as the entrepreneur, artist, careerist, medicine woman, healer, or visionary — something magical seems to occur which transcends the latest trends, rules, or mindsets that although wonderful heuristic devices may not be the best personal solution for you or your business goals. It absolutely blows me away every time I see results come to fruition.
I love it and live for it.
BodyAttune itself recently expanded into a 200 square foot space right in the heart of Union Square. Although I was sad to leave the St. Denis building, which has been a wonderful home for the last two years, it opened the opportunity for bringing on some amazing and gifted practitioners who are dedicated and long-term clients, which I am happy to have as part of the BodyAttune team!
In addition, I began writing for Healing Crystals, a social media platform with over a million followers. My bi-weekly moon sessions and recaps are inspiring and educating around 40,000 viewers with each post, expanding this archaic consciousness platform into a new paradigm which acknowledges the influence the moon can hold over our psyche and increasing awareness for how much these moon cycles can support deep emotional and energetic healing or personal transformation. I hosted three facebook live events this year on the Healing Crystals platform which captured tens of thousands of views each. I loved being able to expound on concepts related to manifestation and alchemy to this amazing audience!
When I was approached by a publisher to contribute a chapter in an anthology of stories about self healing, little did I know at the time that it would become an Amazon #1 bestseller, but Heal Thy Self launched as #1 Hot New Release as well as #1 Best Seller in Spirituality/Self-Help and #1 Best Seller in Biographies/Collections.
My chapter, Initiation, tells the story of when I became aware of my gift of helping lost souls transition, sometimes referred to as a death doula, and how I was supported through that journey in unusual and mysterious ways to access the tools and resources to develop my abilities. This story is a part of my personal process of healing and transformation that I have rarely talked about, so I was surprised at how well the book and my chapter were received by audiences, and helped open me to sharing these gifts more fully in personal healing sessions as well as in the Manifesting Intention Year Long Program. I find more and more that many people are feeling drawn to BodyAttune who are working through developing similar gifts, or are in a process of death and dying either personally or in their relationships with loved ones.
I feel honored and grateful to have shared The Radiant Heart Meditation at the International BodyTalk Heart & Soul Conference this summer, as well as at the Urban Goddess fundraiser for Syrian Refugees co-hosted by Dr. Sura Al-Shibib of Illuminate Wellness Chiropractic and Dr. Susan Plunket a long-time friend, colleague, and fellow radiant human meditator!
In addition, I was gifted a free BodyTalk course at the IBA conference, and enjoyed learning a version of BodyTalk for Plants, taught by John Veltheim, the founder of BodyTalk. I also completed The Soul’s Journey with John Veltheim, as well as a course on Epigenetics with Dr. Laura Stuve. I also completed my PaRama BodyTalk Practitioner Certification. PaRama expands on the principles of the science of energy medicine and biophysics and works on a deep physical and consciousness level, allowing the ability to go far deeper into the inner workings of the body-mind complex to bring about startling and long-lasting results.
In addition, BodyAttune has developed an amazing support team. None of this would be possible without my amazing assistant, Sharon, who works with us virtually from Chicago. And as always the magnificent vision and ever-supportive web team at RLJMedia who are so quick and responsive to help make changes and adjustments to the website on a moments notice when new expansion grows, or offering and implementing new ideas and solutions such as creating an online shop!
